They always got lost in the woods and the smoke which fumed out of my chimney is their map to safety, or so they assumed. I saw your car approach the mansion and knew why you were coming. I knew it was you because I saw your car three days ago in town and laid enough traps to draw you to my mansion. Tricking your naïve mind was as smooth as butter and here you are, at my doorstep, serving yourself to me on a silver platter. A dark laugh escaped my mouth.

Chhaya opened the door and gave you a sad smile, fool that you are you failed to notice the tell tale signs, Chhaya’s eyes were filled with remorse and her smile was absent. You smiled heartily, oblivious that your life was about to change drastically, the innocence in your eyes excited me, sending a spark through my veins making the tips of my fingers tingly. Oh, the things I could teach you my Tharune, they are aplenty.

You were taken aback by the enormity of my mansion, your eyes widened and your lips parted as you saw the enormous staircase with spiral railings, the gigantic windows with complimentary curtains which brightened the hallway and the chandelier which hung majestically from the ceiling. Stunned and speechless by this sight which greeted you, you staggered behind Chhaya without giving a further thought. You climbed the grand staircase and turned into a passageway and I started trailing you, of course, you did not notice me. You have beautiful hair, Tharune, long and lush and black, swishing near your arse as you moved. I smiled as devilish thoughts with visuals crept into my head, sending another spark through my veins.

Chhaya took you to the regular room and promptly shut the door behind. I let out a frustrated sigh.

I waited, tapping my foot lightly.

Minutes passed and the door still remained shut.

My breathing grew labored and my hands started twitching.

The door was still closed.

Arrrrgh.

A couple of minutes later Chhaya opened the door and scowled at me.

Twenty-eight years of my existence, she was the only one who admonished me.

“What’s her name?” I was eager to learn.

“Ahalya. Ahalya Raghavan.”

Ahalya, your name tasted like ash in my mouth. “She’s Tharune.”

Chhaya inhaled sharply and stared at me. She understood what this meant.

I opened the door and asked Chhaya to wait. I went inside and saw all your cloths lying down in a pile. I picked up your clothes and went through them feeling the texture of each clothing. Your brown khaki pants were rough, your white top was soft and your inner garments– I stilled– your inner garments blew my mind. I had never felt such a smooth, and silky, clothing material. I closed my eyes and lightly rubbed them against my stubble. My fingers instantly became tingly and my muscles clenched. I smirked.

I walked outside and gave Chhaya the pile. “Burn her clothes and get her appropriate clothing. Stitch her 4 pairs of inner garments and hide this one.”

I walked back inside and sat on the bed and strained my ears to hear you. I could hear you hum softly beside the sound of water splashing. I closed my eyes and concentrated on the sounds you were making, hearing them made me feel ecstatic. I smirked again.

After a few minutes, I heard your footsteps approach the door. “Chhaya-ma, I forgot to carry the towel, are you there?”

I immediately shot up from the bed and spotted the towel. I picked it up and held it in my hands, unable to decide what to do. My mind was not functioning because your voice distracted me and you had a raspy voice unopposed to how you look. It distracted me to such an extent that I stood rooted in a place breathing in and out.

“Okay, I’m coming out.” You declared, after a pause.

I walked to the entrance of the bathroom and spread the towel holding it with both my hands. My heartbeat was frantic and my toes curled. You opened the door with one hand across your chest, covering your naked breasts and the other across your thighs. Your hair was wet and plastered to your body from your head to hips, suddenly I saw the curve of your arse and it turned my mind haywire. I blinked rapidly trying to gain control and looked up.

I saw your face for a fraction of a second, your eyes were light brown framed with thick lashes staring right into my black ones.

You screamed your lungs out.
